Disconnection Policy on Instant Win Games

Our policy here varies according to two game types:

Single stage instant win games

These games include all those where there is a one stage bet placement process (roulette, all slots games, hi-lo, fortune 52, scratchcards). In these games if a player disconnects before a bet is submitted, no action is taken and the bet is not placed or resolved. If disconnection takes place after a bet is submitted but before a result animation is shown to the player, the bet still stands and will be resolved as if the animation had played out with a win or a loss. After any disconnect (before or after submission) player funds will be held ‘in-play’ by that game for a maximum of 60 minutes. They will then be flushed back to the player’s main account.

Multi stage instant win games

These games include all those where there is more than one stage to the bet placement process (blackjack, deuces wild, jacks or better). In these games, if a player disconnects before the very first bet is submitted, no action is taken and the bet is neither placed nor resolved. If disconnection takes place after the first bet is submitted but before subsequent move actions, the stake will be forfeited. This is to prevent players from, for example, closing a window when they see an ace as the dealer’s facecard in blackjack. However, we review on a daily basis all disconnections on these games and return stakes and or potential winnings to players who have suffered a genuine disconnection. As per the ‘Single stage instant win games’, any additional player funds will be held ‘in play’ by that game for a maximum of 60 minutes.
